The current paper describes the Self-Revelation Through Color technique to
examine clients' inner language, defense mechanisms, and relationships with
significant persons. Clients are first asked to draw colored layers that s
ymbolize their inner language, and then to associate feelings, life events,
and significant others to the colors selected.
