Abstract
Different etiologies hare been shown to underly lethal midline granuloma, E vidence of natural killer cell lymphoma is obtained by immunolabeling and m olecular biology studies. The tumor has a characteristic immunophenotype an d genotype, This clinicopathological entity is highly associated with Epste in-Barr virus (EBV). We present the case of a patient with EBV associated w ith nasal-type natural-killer cell lymphoma and a coexisting hemophagocytic syndrome.
