Abstract
Larvae representing three genera of Leiestinae (Coleoptera, Endomychidae) a re described and illustrated: Leiestes seminiger (Gyllenhal) (Poland, Bialo wieza National Park), Phymaphora pulchella Newman (USA, Virginia), and Rhan idea unicolor (Ziegler) (USA, New Jersey). The larval characters of Endomyc hidae and its subfamilies are discussed, and the key to the known genera is provided. The larval characters show only partial congruence with the rece nt family classification based on the adult data.
