Abstract

Brittonia 52: 246-255. 2000.-A study of Braz ilian species of Grammitidaceae revealed four undescribed species and three new combinations that need to be made. The new species appear to be narrow endemics, one in the state of Espirito Santo (Brazil), two in the mountain s on the Brazil-Venezuelan border, and one in Ecuador. Descriptions and ill ustrations are provided, as well as distribution maps and comments on the c losest related species.
