Abstract
The ligands cyanate and di-2-pyridyl ketone (dpk) are used to construct a t etranuclear cobalt(ii) complex involving mu (1,1)-cyanate bridges: [Co-4(dp k-OH)(2)(dpk-OMe)(2)(NCO)(4)], which shows a dicubane-type structure, with two missing vertices, and having ferromagnetic interactions.
