By mixing reactive surfactants A and B at well-defined compositions, it is
possible to control the preferred curvature in both the initial nonpolymeri
zed and the final crosslinked systems. Direct evidence from small-angle neu
tron scattering and polarizing light microscopy indicates retention of the
phase structures in the polymer phases. These results demonstrate the gener
al utility surfmer mixtures to produce nanostructured polymerized phases of
a desired curvature.
