The density isothermal compressibility, and thermal expansion coefficient o
f macroscopically single-phase n-heptane-water-sodium dodecyl sulfate-n-pen
tanol microemulsions are measured bq a precision dilatometric method at 25
degreesC. The internal pressure and molar volume of the investigated microe
mulsion systems are calculated. It was shown that the bulk properties of di
rect microemulsions with various contents of the dispersed phase markedly d
iffer.
