The crystal structure of a new high-strontium representative of the eudialy
te family has been refined. The mineral is isostructural to kentbrooksite a
nd differs from the latter mainly by isomorphously replaced Mn (by Sr) in t
he M(3)-polyhedron "conjugated" with a polyhedral NbFe3 cluster. (C) 2000 M
