Abstract
A convenient simple method is proposed for the crystallochemical analysis o f polysystem pseudosymmetric structures. The basic statistical data on the structures of polysystem crystals available in the Cambridge Structural Dat abase are discussed. The role of molecular association in formation of the pseudosymmetry in organic crystals is discussed. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/Inter periodica".
