This review summarizes recent developments in the field of chiral separatio
ns by electromigration techniques including capillary zone electrophoresis
(CZE), capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), isotachophoresis (ITP), electro
kinetic chromatography (EKC), and capillary electrochromatography (CEC). Th
is overview focuses on the development of new chiral selectors and the intr
oduction of new techniques rather than applications of already established
selectors and methods. The mechanisms of the different chiral separation pr
inciples are discussed.
