Suspended matter in estuaries of the Ob' and Yenisei rivers: Data from the28th cruise of R/V Akademik Boris Petrov

The distribution of suspended matter and some chemical elements in estuarie s of the Ob and Yenisei rivers is discussed. The mineral composition, chemi stry (C-org, Si, Al, Ca, Fe, Mn, Ti, P, Ba, Sr, V, Cu, Zn, Ni, Co, As, Pb) and grain size of suspended matter are reported, including the distribution of major elements in sections. It has been shown that the estuaries of bot h rivers are zones of marine and river water mixing. The river suspended ma tter is transformed into the marine one over the whole length of the estuar ies (>100 km).
