Abstract
Using the improved lattice Hamiltonian and the truncated eigenvalue equatio n method,we compute the glueball mass of (2 + 1) dimensional SU(2) gauge fi eld theory. The numerical result displays a very good scaling behavior in t he wide coupling region (1.0 less than or equal to 1/g(2)less than or equal to8.0).
