The intersection of electron terms of the ground state of molecule and of t
he autodetachment state of negative ion for complex symmetric molecules suc
h as SF6 is analyzed. Simple theoretical models are used to analyze the mea
sured parameters which characterize the electron attachment to SF6 and othe
r complex molecules. As a result, the parameters of ultraslow electron atta
chment to an SF6 molecule are found for different values of vibrational tem
perature of the molecule.:The parameters are given of the temperature depen
dence of the rate constant of electron attachment to a number of complex mo
lecules.
