The application of complex signals with a large time-bandwidth product in r
adar is considered. A new model based on the Radon transform is proposed fo
r solving radar and radio navigational problems. The standards are simulate
d on the basis of the Radon transform. The hardware implementation is consi
dered for radars based on an untraditional design concept when data are pro
cessed at the carrier frequency in the centimeter and millimeter wave bands
. The hardware and methodical basis of a new radiotechnical measuring syste
m is considered. The system is based on fractal algorithms and is designed
for the solution of a wide class of problems.
