Abstract
The wavelet expansion method was used to analyze three-dimension (3-D) plan ar problem. The structure is a combination of planar sheets of current orie nted along normal and transverse directions in a stratified medium. The sur face integral equation was solved through a Galerkm's method with unknown c urrent expanded in terms of two-dimension orthogonal wavelets. The differen t resolution levels of wavelet were chosen in accordance with the different lengths of the conducting plates. Finally, a comparison was presented betw een the wavelet expansion method and conventional method of moments to judg e their efficiency.
