Using Green's function method, within the framework of the S = 1/2 one-dime
nsional Heisenberg model with a next-nearest-neighbor competing interaction
, the temperature dependences of 1/T-1 and 1/T-2G in the uniform state of t
he spin-Peierls compound CuGeO3 have been calculated. The results reproduce
