Abstract
Spin-density wave (SDW) state at quarter-filling has been examined by apply ing a transfer integral method to two-coupled chains with a relative phase difference (misfit delta). it is shown that a crossover from the commensura te state to the incommensurate state perpendicular to the chain occurs as a function of delta and temperature due to a competition between intrachain potential and interchain interaction.
