Abstract
Nonlinear optical characterization of superlattices generated by the produc tion rule S-j = mS(j-1) + Sj-2 with the initial conditions S-1 = A and S-2 = A(n)B have been studied theoretically. For each rn and tt, the real space structure is quite different. However superlattices with the same in but d ifferent n have the same reciprocal space structure, thus forming an 'isoto pe' family. The result shows the promising applications of these superlatti ces in nonlinear optical frequency conversion.
