Abstract
Simplified determination of cyclosurfamuron in agricultural products by HPL
C with a UV detector was investigated.
The homogenate of agricultural products was extracted with acetone. The cru
de extract was partitioned between 10% sodium chloride solution and ethyl a
cetate-n-hexane(1 : 1)solution, and the ethyl acetate-n-hexane layer was ev
aporated to dryness. The residue was dissolved in n-hexane, and after the s
olution had been refined with ACCUCAT(TM), the methanol solution was analyz
ed by liquid chromatography. Cyclosulfamuron was detected in terms of the a
bsorbance of 260 nm.
Recoveries at the 0.1 ppm level were more than 73% from agricultural produc
ts. Detection limits were 0.01 ppm in samples.
