Abstract
The precise measurements of the specific heat have been done on high-qualit y samples of FeSi and CoSi with the B20 crystal structure. The magnetic and electronic contributions are extracted by explicitly subtracting phonon, c ontributions. The results are discussed based on the spin fluctuation theor y for itinerant electron magnets.
