Abstract
We review a non-resonant Jaynes-Cummings system where the two-state atom is driven by an external field of arbitrary frequency. We identify the multip hoton resonances in the Jaynes-Cummings Ladder (JCL) system, and thereby ex plain all the "resonance" peaks at far-off resonant frequencies.
