The electro-optic effects of two vertically stacked quantum wires in magnet
ic fields are investigated, and the analytic forms of the electro-optic eff
ects of this system are derived by means of density-matrix treatment. The n
umerical results are presented for GaAs/AlchiGa1-chiAs double quantum wires
. Finally, the electro-optic effects versus the magnetic field B, the photo
