Abstract
The results of the susceptibility and polarization measurements as well as the photographs of the domain structure in the TGS crystals previously infl uenced by the electric field perpendicular to the b-axis have been presente d. Rigid striped domains, parallel to the c-axis. have been observed. It ha s also been shown that the susceptibility maximum of such crystals occurs a t a temperature higher than the critical one.
