Abstract
Excess molar volumes V-E of binary mixtures of benzene + 1-propanol, + 1-bu tanol, + 1-pentanol, + 1-hexanol, + 1-heptanol, 1-octanol, + 1-nonanol and 1-decanol were measured at 303.15 K. The V-E values are positive over the e ntire range of composition for these mixtures. The results are discussed in terms of intermolecular interactions.
