Abstract
The Hypocrealean epibiont of Baccharis coridifolia has been shown to synthe size de novo a series of macrocyclic trichothecene antibiotics, such as ror idin A, roridin E, verrucarin A and verrucarin J. The structures of the com pounds were determined by spectroscopic methods (H-1- and C-13-NMR and FABM S).
