Abstract
Polycrystalline samples of the CuGaxIn1-xSe2 semiconductor alloys (CGIS) ha ve been obtained by direct fusion of the elements. The lattice parameters, phase diagram and the energy gap of each sample are calculated and compared with the values reported by other authors for samples grown by different m ethods.
