Abstract
A patient had five relapses of polyneuropathy: four developed during post-p artum. The rapid onset of symptoms with subsequent complete recovery are in favor of a recurrent Guillain-Barre syndrome rather than a chronic relapsi ng inflammatory polyneuropathy.
