Abstract
A series of secondary alkylaromatic acetylenic peroxy alcohols were prepare d by reaction of lithium peroxy acetylenides with monosubstituted benzaldeh ydes. Reaction of intermediately formed lithium peroxy alcoholates with ace tic anhydride gave the corresponding peroxy-containing acetates. The therma l stability of the synthesized compounds was evaluated by derivatography.
