Abstract
Condensation of 2-phenylaminobenzcarbohydrazine with aromatic aldehydes, ke tones, and alpha -dicarbonyl compounds affords hydrazones that in crystalli ne state and in solutions form associates with the cis-amide group. The hyd razone fragment therein exists as EE'E'' isomer stabilized by intramolecula r hydrogen bond.
