Abstract
We report a case of progressive deterioration in renal function and decreas ed renal graft perfusion induced by extensive aorto-iliac atherosclerotic l esions proximal to a patent renal graft artery. Significant improvement in kidney graft function followed left axillo-femoral bypass graft surgery, wh ich to the best of our knowledge, has never been performed previously for p ermanent maintenance of renal transplant perfusion.
