Finite temperature correlation functions of one-dimensional interacting electron systems

The well-known bosonisation method of one-dimensional electron systems is e xtended to finite temperatures. As an example, the correlation functions of the non-interacting case are explicitly calculated. The presentation is pe dagogical and is intended to be accessible to graduate students or physicis ts who are not experts in this field.
