A sensitive, accurate and reproducible high performance liquid chromatograp
hic (HPLC) procedure has been developed for the separation and analysis of
lorazepam and related compounds. A 20-muL sample was separated by reversed-
phase HPLC on a 150 mm x 4.6 mm, 5-mum particle, Wakosil column with 0.1 M
ammonium acetate (pH adjusted to 6.0 with acetic acid)-acetonitrile-methano
l, 1:1:1 (v/v) as mobile phase.
