Abstract
We consider the initial-boundary value problem for a linear thermoelas tic plate equation and we prove that the energy associated to the syst em decays exponentially to zero as time goes to infinity. (C) 1997 by B. G. Teubner Stuttgart-John Wiley & Sons Ltd.
