Abstract
A process for the recycling of ethylene-co-vinyl acetate (EVA) waste h as been investigated. Biodegradable blends have been prepared by the a ddition of polysaccharides to EVA and blend films obtained. These film s were analysed by thermogravimetric analysis (TG and DTG), differenti al scanning calorimetry (DSC) and scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) . The results are discussed in terms of thermal stability and biodegra dability. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science Limited.
