Abstract
In this paper, we present a multiagent algorithm for the frequency assignme nt problem in cellular radio networks. The algorithm, that has been success fully applied to GSM networks, efficiently assigns frequencies to each radi o cell satisfying the constraints given by a compatibility matrix.
