Abstract
Two cases of Rhodococcus equi infection ill Spanish goats have been describ ed. Clinical signs were chronic weight loss, agalactia, fever, prone positi on and apparent abdominal pain in one of them. Multifocal well encapsulated scattered abscess were observed in liver. Stress, sanitary deficiencies an d moderate cold environment few months ago could have caused the establishm ent of infection.
