Abstract
In this study the expression of malate dehydrogenases in different sporophy tic tissues and pollen tissue of black thorn (Prunus spinos L.) was analyse d. The results showed that in comparison with different sporophytic tissues only the pollen and possibly the anther tissue of black them revealed an a dditional MDH zone. Potential physiological functions of this additional MD H zone especially in the pollen of black thorn were discussed.
