Abstract
The influence of student-faculty interactions on the academic achievement L atina/o college students is examined using a national cross-sectional sampl e of 836 students (36.1% men, 63.9% women). Students' college grades were r egressed onto college and student variables, and a variety of student-facul ty interactions. Academically related and personal interactions with facult y as well as the perceived quality of relationships with faculty were found to be positively associated with academic performance.
