Abstract
We have studied the influence of Ce-doping upon local properties at Gd site s in Gd1-xCexCu6 by Gd-155 Mossbauer spectroscopy. Our primary interest con centrated upon the evolution of the magnetic order of Gd moments and of the electronic density at Gd sites with increasing Ce-concentration. In additi on, the variation of magnetic hyperfine fields with temperature yields esti mates of the Neel temperature as a function of Ce content x. (C) 2000 Elsev ier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
