Abstract
Raman scattering excited with 1064 nm laser beam was used to study the temp erature properties of the radical anion salt C-60) with tetraphenylphospdon iumiodide (Ph4P)(2).C-60.I The enhanced intensity, broadening and red-shift of the low-frequency C-60 modes were all explained as a result of electron -molecular vibration (e-mv) interactions. The e-mv coupling constants were evaluated for low-frequency H-g and A(g) modes of the fullerene monoanion. The determined coupling constants for (Ph4P)(2).C-60.I are in good agreemen t with earlier results for the fullerene and its compounds. (C) 2000 Elsevi er Science B.V. All rights reserved.
