A technique for remodeling the antihelix to correct the prominent ear

Purpose: This report presents a simplified and quick surgical method for co rrection of the prominent ear. Patients and Methods: Fifty otoplasties in 29 patients were performed to re shape the antihelix. The technique was based on the Stenstrom method plus u se of the Kaye suture. Results: No major complications were observed while using this method, and good aesthetic results were obtained.
