Abstract
Research has been carried out to investigate the relationship of both stati c and dynamic thermal properties of leather with structural (thickness, app arent density), mechanical (creep index, bagginess index, compression) and handle characteristics (softness, stiffness). Eighteen leathers of differen t origin, application and characteristics were evaluated.
