Abstract
An antenna array synthesis method based on the simulated annealing algorith m is presented. The synthesis is carried out on the total electrical far fi eld in magnitude and polarization. This method used the flexibility of the simulated annealing technique to optimize both complex feed currents and an gular arrangements of the elements. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
