Abstract
A closed-form synthesis procedure for wideband matching of microwave amplif iers is described. Impedance-matching networks, yielding the required sourc e and load impedances, are synthesized for maximum power transfer for optim um noise performance, or to achieve higher output power. The matching probl em is also solved in closed form for conditionally stable devices. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
