Abstract
Nera gigaspora anam, sp. nov. is described and illustrated from rotten leav es collected in the rain forest of Chajul, Chiapas, Mexico. It is character ized by cylindrical, 5-7-septate, guttulate conidia arising from long, dent iculate conidiogenous cells. Notes on closely related species and a key to Neta species are provided.
