Abstract
Phellinus tabaquilio is described as new. It was found on living Polylepis australis, Rosaceae, in Cordoba mountains, central Argentina It belongs to the Phellinus robustus complex (Hymenchaetaceae, Aphyllophorales) being dis tinguished by its macromorphology, the way it grows and the substrate.
