Abstract
Celecoxib, a specific inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-2, is used to treat the s ymptoms of arthritis. A 79-year-old woman developed an atypical visual dist urbance associated with this agent that resolved on discontinuation of cele coxib. Similar visual disturbances described with the traditional nonsteroi dal antiinflammatory drugs are discussed.
