Analytical heavy quark expansion in the 't Hooft model - art. no. 014004

We present a number of exact relations for the heavy quark limit and develo p an analytical 1/m(Q) expansion for heavy mesons in the 't Hooft model. Am ong the new results are the 3 mu (2)(pi) = <(<Lambda>)over bar>(2) - m(sp)( 2) + beta (2), 1/m(Q) corrections to the decay constants, to the kinetic ex pectation values, and 1/m(Q)(2) nonperturbative corrections to the B-->D am plitude at zero recoil. The properties of the IW functions are addressed an d the small velocity sum rules are verified.
