Abstract
A pagination fee for journal articles and related now appears to be a trend in the 21(st) century, global information society. Academic scholarship cr eated for the printed page must compete with electronic media for dissemina tion. Further, scarce dollars in post secondary institutions mean that many scholars will have to underwrite their own research and pay for reviewer, subscription, and membership fees along with the costs of attending and giv ing presentations, papers, and poster distribution. To add to the burden, a page fee journal discriminates and does not guarantee publication. Enclose d is a comprehensive but growing list of journals that charge fees as discu ssed below.
