Abstract
A mechanism of formation of the active surface structure in vanadium-titani um catalysts of various compositions, prepared from well crystallized TiO2 (anatase) and its mixtures with TiO2. nH(2)O, was proposed. Factors respons ible for different stability to the action of the reaction medium in oxidat ion of durene to pyromellitic dianhydride were established.
